What this format has to get right

  • Buyers named, where you are allowed to

The buyer list is the fastest signal in this sector. Where a confidentiality clause stops you naming a brand we describe the market and the order profile instead, which still tells a reader what they need.

  • Volume, product type and season

Knits or woven, tops or bottoms, pieces per order, orders per season. Two merchandisers with the same title can be doing entirely different jobs, and this is what separates them on paper.

  • The parts that go wrong, and how you handled them

TNA slippage, fabric delay, a failed inspection, a shipment pulled forward. Handling a problem is the strongest thing on a merchandising CV, and it is the thing most people leave off.

  • Compliance and systems, stated plainly

Accord and Alliance era audits, buyer code of conduct, BSCI or Sedex exposure, and the systems you actually used, from ERP to a shared tracker. These are checked, so they are written accurately.

From order to delivery

  1. Place the order and pay

Pay from your own bKash, Nagad or Rocket account to the number shown at checkout, then paste the transaction ID. That ID is what ties your payment to your order.

  2. Send your information

An old CV, a certificate, a LinkedIn link or a plain list is enough. Nothing has to be tidy. If something important is missing we will ask instead of inventing it.

  3. A writer builds it from scratch

Not a name dropped into a ready made file. Your experience is read, ordered and rewritten so the strongest part of it is the first thing anyone sees.

  4. Delivered within 48 hours

A print ready PDF and DOCX, sent within 48 hours of the order being confirmed. One revision is included. Further revisions are an add-on, and a later update by us costs 20% of what you paid for the CV; you can also edit the DOCX yourself.

What we need from you

Nothing has to be tidy. If something important is missing we will ask rather than invent it.

  • Factories or buying houses and your dates
  • Buyers handled, or the markets they were in
  • Product type and typical order size
  • Systems and any compliance exposure
  • The role and factory you are targeting

Questions about this

I cannot name my buyers. Is the CV weaker?

Not if it is written around the restriction. Market, product category, order size and season tell a merchandising manager most of what a brand name would, and a candidate who respects a confidentiality clause reads as someone safe to hire.

I am moving from production to merchandising. How is that written?

By leading with the overlap. Line planning, TNA awareness, quality gates and buyer correspondence exist on both sides, and a production background is an advantage in merchandising when the CV shows you understand what the floor can actually deliver.

Do foreign buying offices read this format?

Yes. Liaison offices in Dhaka hire on the same signals, and the page stays readable to a head office abroad because it avoids local abbreviations that mean nothing outside the country.

Will mine look exactly like the samples?

No. The samples are CVs we wrote for other people, shown so you can judge the standard of the work before you pay. They are not files you pick from and fill in. Yours is written from your own material, and the order of the sections is decided by what is strongest in your case.

Do I get a Word file too?

Yes. Every CV comes as PDF and DOCX, so you get a print ready file and an editable Word file you can open and change yourself.

Single column or two columns?

We build single column by default. Screening software reads a page from top to bottom in one pass, and a two column layout makes it interleave the two sides, so a strong candidate can come out of the parser as nonsense. If you prefer the look of two columns we will do it that way and say plainly what you are trading for it.

What if I do not like the first draft?

Write back with the points you want changed and the same writer revises it. One revision is part of the price rather than an extra, and further revisions are an add-on on this page. What we cannot do is guarantee a particular employer will call, and anyone promising that is selling you something else.

My deadline is today. Can it be faster?

Yes. Same day express is an add on above, and it moves your order to the front of the queue for delivery in 6 to 8 hours. An express order placed after 8 pm is delivered by 11 am the next morning. Everything else about the work stays the same.

What if I change jobs later and need it updated?

Tell us what changed and we update it. A new job, a promotion, a training certificate or a new phone number are all the same to us, and you get a fresh PDF and DOCX back. An update done by us costs 20% of what you paid for the CV. You can also edit the DOCX yourself, whenever you like.
