Career service · LinkedIn audit

Recruiters search LinkedIn before they read a CV, and most profiles never come up

An audit is not a rewrite. Your profile is read the way a recruiter's search reads it — headline, About, every role, the skills list, the settings nobody opens — and you get back a written report that says what is costing you searches, what is costing you replies, and the exact line to put in place of each one.

What the audit actually looks at

  • Whether search finds you at all

LinkedIn is a search engine before it is anything else. Recruiters type a job title and a skill and work down the results, and a profile without those words in the places that are indexed does not appear on the list at all. Nothing else on your profile matters until that is fixed.

  • The headline, which is doing more work than the About

It travels with your name into every search result, every comment and every invitation, and it is usually the only line a recruiter reads before deciding whether to open the profile. Most people leave it as the job title LinkedIn filled in for them.

  • Experience written as duties instead of outcomes

A list of what you were responsible for describes the job, not you — the next person to hold that post could copy it word for word. The audit marks the lines that say what changed because you were there, and the ones that could belong to anyone.

  • The settings nobody opens

A custom URL, whether recruiters can see that you are open to work, who can find you by email, which country your profile says you are in. These take a minute each, cost nothing, and quietly decide how many people reach you.

How the audit is done

  1. Order and pay

Checkout shows a bKash, Nagad or Rocket number. Send the amount from your own account, then paste the transaction ID into the order so the payment can be matched to it.

  2. Send your profile link

The public URL is all we need, and we never ask for a password. Tell us the roles you are aiming at in the same message — an audit against no target is only an opinion.

  3. The audit is written

Every public section is gone through against those roles, and the report is written as you would act on it: what is wrong, why it costs you, and the line to use instead.

  4. The report arrives, then one follow-up

The PDF lands in your downloads within 12 hours. Make the changes at your own pace, then send the profile back once and we check what you have done against the report.

What to send us

The profile link is the one thing we cannot work without. Everything else sharpens the audit rather than enabling it.

  • Your LinkedIn profile URL
  • The roles you are targeting, or a job advertisement
  • Your CV, if you have one
  • The country you are applying in
  • Anything you would rather we did not suggest making public

Questions about this

How is this different from LinkedIn Profile Optimization?

The audit tells you what to change and hands you the report. The optimization service makes the changes for you, on your profile, and produces no document. Order the audit if you want to understand and own your profile, and the optimization if you would rather it was simply done.

Do I have to give you my LinkedIn password?

No. Everything in the audit is read from the public version of your profile, which is exactly what a recruiter sees. If something is hidden from us it is hidden from them too, and that is itself a finding.

Does LinkedIn really matter for jobs in Bangladesh?

For local entry-level posts advertised on job boards, often not much. For multinationals, agencies, remote work, and anything abroad, it is frequently the first place you are looked up and sometimes the only one. It also decides whether anyone approaches you when you are not applying.

Will this get me more recruiter messages?

Nobody can promise that, and anyone who does is selling something. What an audit can do is make sure you appear in the searches you should appear in and that the profile survives the first ten seconds once you do. The rest depends on your experience and on who is hiring this month.

My profile is nearly empty. Is an audit worth it yet?

Yes, and it is cheaper than filling it twice. An empty profile has no wrong lines to undo, so the report reads as an order of work: what to write first, what each section is for, and which fields are decided once and never touched again.

Can you audit a profile written in Bengali?

Yes. The report will say where Bengali is costing you searches, because recruiters type their queries in English even when everyone involved speaks Bengali, and a headline that exists only in Bengali is invisible to those queries.

How can a real audit be done in 12 hours?

Because it is one profile against a target you have already named, not an investigation. The work is reading every section carefully and writing the replacement lines, and that is a few hours rather than a few days. The 12 hours is a ceiling, not an estimate.

Do you make the changes for me?

Not in the audit. You paste in the lines the report gives you, which takes about twenty minutes, and you keep control of your own account. If you would rather not do it at all, LinkedIn Profile Optimization is the service that does it for you.

Can I order this together with a CV?

Yes, and the two are worth ordering together. A CV and a profile that disagree about your last job title or your dates is the first thing a recruiter notices, and a CV written here gives the audit the wording to align the profile against.
